1. (used, usu. with 了, at the end of a sentence to give force to the statement)

2. yes, that's right; exactly; precisely

♦ 这是不是你说的那个？— ~。 Is that what you were talking about?—Yes, that's it.

3. (used correlatively with 也) even if

♦ 你~不愿意去, 也得打个电话。 Even if you don't want to go, you still have to make a phone call.
