raise, rise, arise
这三个词均可作“上升”解。raise用作及物动词，表示“使升高，使竖立起来”；arise表示“开始”，“出现”；而rise的意思是“上升”或“起身”(相当于口语中的get up)等，作不及物动词。试比较：
