cooperate, collaborate, coordinate

这三个词都含有“配合”或“合作”的意思。其区别在于：cooperate表示相互支持以达到共同目的，常用于生产劳动中的相互配合，例如：

If we all cooperate, we'll soon finish.如果我们大家合作的话，很快就会完成的。

collaborate主要用于文学、艺术、科学等方面，也可表示与敌人“勾结”进行叛逆，例如：

They collaborated in writing a history of Britain.他们通力合作撰写了英国史。

Those who collaborated with the criminal were punished. 与罪犯勾结的那些人受到了惩罚。

coordinate强调为了提高工作效率或使事情顺利进行而“协调、配合”，例如：

You should coordinate the movement of your arms and legs.你应该协调手脚的动作。
