用法说明
disappear, vanish, die out
这三个词都表示“消失”。
disappear表示渐渐地、慢慢地“消失”，也可表示突然或很快地“消失”，例如：
The sun disappeared below the horizon.太阳沉入地平线下不见了。
vanish表示突然而神秘地“消失”，不留任何痕迹，例如：
The man suddenly vanished from the village.那个人突然从村里消失了。
die out表示习惯、种族、物种、思想等的渐渐“消失”，含有越来越少、越来越小最终不复存在之义，例如：
The giant panda is dying out.大熊猫正濒临灭绝。
