cheat, deceive, swindle
这三个词都含有“欺骗”之义。其区别在于：
cheat比较口语化，表示以骗术或花招等逃避他人的监视；当表示违反常规或道义等时，后接介词of, out, into等；在游戏、考试中使用时，表示耍手段或作弊等；此外，也可在口语中用来表示对爱情的不忠，如有外遇等，例如：
cheat in an examination在考试中作弊
The businessman cheated her into buying his fake paintings.商人哄骗她买了赝品画。
deceive比较正式，表示通过制造假象、歪曲事实或用不正当的手段行骗；也含有“蒙蔽”和“行骗成功”之义，例如：
