run
1. run, jog, trot, gallop, sprint, race
这些词都可作“跑”解。其区别在于：run最为常用，既可指赛跑，也可指为赶时间而跑等。trot和gallop通常分别指马慢跑和疾驰，但若要指人的话，trot通常意为慢跑、快走，而gallop则指快跑。jog一般指作为健身运动的慢跑。sprint指在较短的距离内全速快跑。race不一定总指比赛，但有快速跑的必要。试比较：

2. run, manage, administer
这三个词都含有“经营”，“管理”之义。其区别在于：manage侧重表示对企业、商业、家务、房地产等的具体事务的管理。administer侧重表示行使所赋予的权利管理政府、部门、企业等的事务。run不如前两个词正式，经常与manage互换，有时也与administer换用。试比较：
