用法说明
under, beneath, underneath, below
这几个词都有“在…的下方”的意思。under表示“在…正下方” 、 “为…所覆盖”，与over相对。beneath 与under意思接近，但较正式，含有被遮掩或被遮蔽之义，有时也表示两物之间有一定距离。当强调一物被另一物所遮盖、掩藏或强调两物之间有接触时，常用underneath 替换under。 underneath常用于句末，而 under则无此用法。below 表示位置“在…下面”、“低于…”， 它与above相对。试比较：
