adequate
adequate与enough、sufficient都可以用在名词前面,表示“(数量)足够”(复数名词前面只用enough和sufficient)。
We had adequate (或enough,sufficient) money for the journey.我们为这次旅行准备了足够的钱。
如果用adequate会被误认为表示“够好的(good enough)”时,就要避免使用。
There is sufficient (或enough) food.有足够的食物。
