1.try， attempt

二者都可作动词和名词，且意思相近，都可作“试图”解，只是前者更常用于口语，后者更常用于书面语。

2. try doing sth.， try to do sth.

前者表示 “尝试着做某事”。后者表示“企图或想要做某事”，与attempt to do虽然意思相同但不如其正式。试比较：
