用法说明
show, exhibit, display
这三个词均可作“显示”,“展示”解。其区别在于:show较常用,指有意无意地将东西显示给别人看。exhibit和display较正式,有时可与show替换。exhibit表示有意把东西陈列出来让人家仔细地看,以便评论好坏。display则表示故意把东西放在显眼的地方让人家看,有时含有炫耀之义。试比较:
She showed me the picture she'd painted. 她把她画的图画给我看。
